2. Accessibility

By car: taking the A430 highway to Albertville ; 2x2 lanes to Moutiers, then D117 for 20 km to Saint-Martin de Belleville. Access road in excellent condition, no pass to cross to reach the Valley.

By train: direct arrival at the Moutiers Salins train station, then by bus to Saint-Martin de Belleville. There is also the "London-Moutiers" Eurostar and the Thalys, Antwerp and Brussels from Belgium, Amsterdam and Rotterdam from the Netherlands.

By plane: Chambery/Aix (100km), Lyon Saint-Exupery (183 km), Geneve (143 km), Grenoble (180 km). Bus transfers from airports to Saint-Martin de Belleville/Les Menuires.

 

3. Proximity

Saint-Martin de Belleville is also the closest resort to the major cities and Moutiers; only about ten minutes from Les Menuires and Méribel (with the St Martin and St Martin Express lifts) and 25 minutes from Val Thorens.

Also a proximity with Italy, with the Maurienne valley, with Lake Annecy and Lake Bourget ; as well as Chamonix.

 

4. Gastronomy

Saint-Martin was voted best gastronomic resort in 2016. 7. Conviviality

A very strong sense of belonging and a rural activity are the foundation of the village's identity. The inhabitants welcome skiers in the middle of their farms, the restaurateurs pick up the skiers when they return from the slopes.... It is a pleasant village where shops are open all year round.

You will find many farms, especially dairy (production of Beaufort, sheep's cheese, goats ...), the House of the Savoy black bee (production of honey), alpine gastronomic culture around herbs, workshops cooking (in La Bouitte), as well as a weekly market of artisans and producers!
