During the peak ski season, the question is often the same for many holidaymakers: but where will I park? Once the nights are reserved, the question of parking arises. The problem is also the same in many ski resorts. From Tignes to Val d'Isere via La Clusaz or Les Arcs, covered car parks are rare.
With a demand far stronger than the resort offer, it is not easy for holidaymakers to know their car is hot. So, if you have a garage, box, shed or other land, know that your parking has a real rental value. Covered or outdoors, in the mountains all places are useful for rent. Prendsmaplace tells us more about this market of private car park rentals in ski resort.
Prendsmaplace was created in 2014 with a simple objective: to enhance private vacant car parks. The start-up wishes to make the happiness of its users:
Developed on the model of collaborative economies, more than 4,000 private advertisers have emerged on the site. Developed with the aim of improving parking conditions in city centres (Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Nice, ...), its' activity has spread near train stations and airports, and in ski resorts since the end of 2018. Prendsmaplace wanted to reduce the price of car parking for travellers. To do so, its founder had the good idea to blend car parks and private carpool systems. Two models of parking are available: allow locals living in the valley to rent their parking in addition to a ride in the station of their hosts. For the owners living in the resort, a simple rental of parking at home will make the happiness of seasonal workers.
For longer bookings, it is advisable to complete a car rental lease while setting a bank transfer schedule. If you have free parking permanently, from time to time or even certain times of the day, renting a car park does not engage you in anything.
