Parkings in ski resorts
All the advice you will need to deal with parking in the resorts
To know all about the car parks in ski resorts
Where to park in Courchevel? Where to park in Meribel? Where to park in Val d'Isere?
If your rental doesn´t have a parking, don’t leave it to the last minute: Cimalpes can tell you what to do. In Courchevel, Julien Chamoux, head of Cimalpes rental services gives the same advice : “The sooner you do it, the better. As soon as the client has completed their questionnaire about their stay, we take care of booking them a space in one of the Courchevel public car parks : they will receive their parking pass as soon as they arrive. They don´t have to do anything” !
Meribel: the city of shuttles
Apart from a few spaces, parking in the town of Meribel is not free.
The town hall has set up a large number of car parks with automatic pay stations and also free shuttles to get on the slopes in the mornings and return to Meribel Village, Rafforts, Allues, etc in the evening.
Courchevel : a well covered car park
It is almost impossible to park outside in Courchevel.
However, Courchevel Parc Auto offers 11 covered car parks with a total of nearly 2000 spaces and several tips for easy parking.
Val d'Isere: Buses in all the hamlets
Each winter, the resort sets up its free shuttle network to move quickly from one end of the station to the other.
With three free shuttle lines, the many buses will transport you to the station from morning to evening.
With more than 3,000 reservations per year, Cimalpes enables more than 25,000 holidaymakers to benefit from hotel comfort in their own accommodation each winter.
