Les Gets

The guide to the resort of Les Gets

Les Gets is a village resort full of Savoyard charm, with a year-round offering of sports and well-being activities and facilities suitable for the whole family.

The Ski Area

Part of the Portes du Soleil, Europe's largest cross-border ski area, the resort of Les Gets has everything you need for a mountain break. Less than an hour's drive from Geneva international airport, this little corner of paradise offers panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif. Situated on a south-facing plateau with abundant sunshine, holidaymakers can enjoy the area's 650 kilometres of pistes that wind down hillsides and through pine forests in ideal conditions.

Also linked to the neighbouring resort of Morzine, the Les Gets-Morzine ski area has 120 kilometres of marked runs with a maximum altitude of over 2,000m. In total, there are 71 pistes suitable for all levels, and 15 leisure slopes to discover the joys of snow activities.

From the village, there is direct access to the slopes, and many properties are ski-in/ski-out. The resort's two ski areas, Mont-Chéry and Les Chavannes, offer a diverse selection of pistes, with something suitable for all levels of skier, from beginners to experienced.

  • Mont-Chéry, the quieter side of the resort, is a delight for fans of powder snow, untracked slopes and more technical black and red pistes
  • Well-suited to families, Les Chavannes has something for all levels of skier, young and old alike, with playgrounds and interactive trails adapted for learning and having fun in complete safety

The Districts

In the heart of the village close to the pistes, or further out in the peace and quiet of the mountains, Les Gets offers a wide range of apartment or chalet accommodation to suit all tastes.

The Village Centre

The lively Chavannes district is the historic heart of the resort, close to the gondola lift, and easy to get around on foot. Appreciate the proximity of the shops and various services, whilst enjoying  your stay in modern accommodation equipped with wellness areas, parking and ski lockers. Evenings here are lively and you will appreciate being close to the many restaurants. Wandering through the streets, we are transported back in time by the ambiance and traditional architecture that remind us why we love the mountains.

Les Perrières

Not far from the Perrières chairlift, this a small neighbourhood that is still convenient for the village centre. Close to small local food shops, restaurants and a bus stop, and at the foot of the pistes, Les Perrières offers the peace  and quiet of being away from the centre without feeling isolated. The buildings here are generally newer, and development is ongoing, increasing the attractiveness of the "New Les Gets."
