With 150 kilometres of marked runs catering for all levels, you will certainly not be bored on the slopes of Val Thorens. Easier slopes run from the village, with more technical pistes slightly further afield for the more adventurous.
Breakdown of marked runs:

- 28 red
- 36 blue
- 5 green
Furthermore, because Val Thorens is a purpose-built ski resort, much of the accommodation has ski-in/ski-out access - a considerable advantage.

A winter wonderland awaits you at the 150m2 Village Igloo situated in the heart of the ski area. Enjoy an aperitif in the impressive Ice Bar, or for something a little different, a traditional Savoyard fondue followed by a magical overnight stay in an igloo.
Freestyle skiers will love the fantastic 70,000m2 snowpark accessed via the Moutière chairlift. For a change of pace, the VT Fun Ride and VT Family Park are suitable for the whole family to have fun together on skis. There is something for all levels and abilities.
From early February, it is possible to ski into the evenings - an enjoyable way to watch the sunset.
