Opening of the Col de l'Iseran & Summer skiing

June 12th, 2021

Accessible by the Iseran pass road, the Pisaillas glacier welcomes skiers from June 12th to July 11th. The highest point of the domain at 3300m, the glacier offers six runs, three of which are open to the public (Moraine, Pisaillas and Montets) and three reserved for the training of sports teams (Champions, Pers and Roche).

  • Day pass: 31€.
  • Season pass: 350€.

Iserane

On June 27th, 2021, take on the highest road pass in Europe, at 2770m!

The cyclists will open the road on June 27th, 2021 for an ascent of the Iseran pass from the villages of Val d'Isère and Bonneval sur Arc. Culminating at an altitude of 2770m, the highest road pass in Europe is reserved for cyclists all morning. At the beginning of each summer, the most daring swallow it by force of leg, and the curious take part in the game on an electrically-assisted bike: 17 kilometres and 900m of D+ starting from Val d'Isère!

Trail of the 5 Vals

July 9th & 10th, 2021

Come and surpass yourself at the Trail des 5 Vals!

As part of the opening of the new Trek Nature Grand Paradis Vanoise cross-border trail, the Val d'Isère Sports Club is organising the Trail des 5 Vals, to be run solo or in pairs on 9 and 10 July 2021.


On the programme: 

  • Thursday 8th July: Collection of race numbers
  • Friday 9th July: Day 1 - 47,1km - 3400 D+.
  • Saturday 10th July: Day 2 - 48.2km - 3230 D+.

Odlo High Trail Vanoise

July 10th & 11th, 2021

A 100% trail weekend!

The Odlo High Trail Vanoise gathers runners of all levels around 6 races in the inspiring setting of the Avalon summits. See you on Saturday 10th July for the Odlo High Trail of 72km, 5400 m of D+ and the Trail des 6 Cols with its 42km, 3500m D+. 

On Sunday 11th July, the Trail des Balcons de Val (20km, 1000 m D+), the Odyssea breast cancer charity trail and walk (9km, 300 m D+), the Youth Trail as well as the Vertical Race, KV de Bellevarde, this year on the calendar of the French FFA Vertical Race Championships, will start.

The Avaline Savoyard Fair

August 7th & 8th, 2021

This traditional festival brings together over 120 exhibitors in the heart of the village of Val d'Isère for a weekend.
