The Chavannes area is a paradise for intermediate skiers, with gentle blues and easy reds to keep everyone happy. The pistes wind through forest and valleys, and there are also leisure slopes and a fun area for children.

The Snow

At an altitude of nearly 1,200m, the Chavannes side of the mountain has snow that usually softens quickly during the day, even after a cold night. On the north-facing Mont-Chéry side, the snow stays hard all day on many pistes. To enjoy softer snow throughout the day, head to the southern part of the ski area, with terrain that changes with the snowfalls throughout the season.

The Portes du Soleil invariably has exceptional snow cover, with an average snowfall of 7.83 metres each year.

In Les Gets, 41 kilometres of slopes are equipped with snow cannons.

The Ski Lifts

Les Gets has a variety of ski lifts:

  • 4 gondola lifts
  • 6 detachable chairlifts (6-person)
  • 8  detachable chairlifts (4-person)
  • 5 chairlifts (4-person)
  • 4 chairlifts (3-person)
